As some of you may know, Blue Water Highway that stretches form Freeport to Galveston has been closed since hurricane "IKE". Funding for some of these projects has been slow coming but it sounds that today they finally have funding in the works for this stretch of road in the works. As the word goes it may be as many as 3-4 months once funding is approved to complete the project . I personally can't wait. It makes for a great day ride from my place !!
